NITC Meeting
The next meeting of the Nebraska Information Technology Commission will be held in Lincoln on September 18. The agenda will be posted on the NITC website.


Standards and Guidelines: Draft Documents Posted for 30-Day Comment Period
The Technical Panel is seeking comments on the following draft documents:
- Information Security Policy
- Data Security Standard
- Password Standard
- Email Standard for State Government Agencies

First published in July 1972, the Statehouse Observer was created to be an important information resource for state employees and to help provide answers to employees’ questions concerning benefit plans, rules and regulations and compensation issues. Starting with the August edition, the Observer is now available online and in a limited print version.
