NITC Meeting

The next meeting of the Nebraska Information Technology Commission is scheduled for November 1 in Lincoln. The meeting time, location, and agenda will be posted on the NITC website.

Podcasting Across Nebraska kicks off, invites communities to participate
Communities or regional groups interested in podcasting are invited to apply.  Deadline is Oct. 13.

Podcasting classes planned in Ainsworth, Valentine

SBA offers podcasts for business owners

PSC and FCC:  Broadband deployment continues to increase
Two recent reports indicate that broadband deployment continues to increase.   The Nebraska Public Service Commission found that nearly 100% of the state's population in incorporated places has broadband access  (Press release, full report).  The FCC found that high speed lines increased by 33% in 2005 (Press release, full report).
