| E-Government Conference About 200 participants -- representing over 50 agencies -- attended the third annual E-Government Conference, The Web and More! on November 6. Governor Johanns opened the conference which was followed by a day-long discussion of e-government topics including: security, online payments, accessibility issues, and "Building a Business Case." Standards and Guidelines Recently Adopted At their meeting on October 31, the NITC adopted the following: 1. Accessibility Policy 2. Security Procedures/Templates for Handbooks - Computer Users Security Handbook - IS Technology Staff Handbook - Security Officer Instruction Guide Handbook Under Review The Technical Panel is seeking comments on the draft Incident Response and Reporting Procedure for State Government.
